On Saturday 17th February, ISS proudly sponsored the “Player of the Match” award at the League 1 game between Derby County and Stevenage.

ISS had a table for 10 in he Toyota Suite at Pride Park Stadium and were lucky to be joined by special guest Colin Todd. Todd was the stand out player in the 1971/72 season when Derby were crowned Champions of England.

A great day was had by all, especially as Derby earned a 1-0 victory to push them up to 2nd in the table.

Today we celebrate 20 years of trading at I-S-Solutions UK Ltd.

We are extremely proud to have reached our 20^th year of providing our One Stop Solution to our valued customers across the Aviation and Materials Handling industries.

Alongside project management & consultancy, we provide our customers with a wide range of services, such as system design, fabrication, installation and commissioning together with maintenance and call-out services.

We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has supported and contributed to ISS over the past two decades and look forward to continuing to provide our services to all current and future customers.

An expansion and reconfiguration of the check-in area at Liverpool John Lennon Airport is the latest project delivered by ISS.

Amending the layout and installing additional desks, this has allowed Jet2.com to host 10 check-in desks at LJLA, all with bag drop functionality. This allows passengers to dispatch their hold luggage into the baggage system without the need of staff on each desk.

I-S-Solutions UK has completed phase 1 of a full upgrade of another UK Airport to Standard 3 Baggage Screening. Whilst upgrading the screening machine, ISS are also delivering a bespoke upgrade of the outbound baggage system, fully tailored to the needs of the airport.

This week at Ørland airport, a small airport in mid-Norway, I-S-Solutions UK completed the installation of a system for Cabin baggage and Hold baggage due to space restrictions in the terminal, while making the system more friendly for the staff and the passengers. The system will be weighing all items, count passengers, and produce an onscreen manifest for the staff to make the load sheets after the staff have concentrated on their main role of providing high-level security to the screening process. As with all our projects, we designed it to provide all the data to the customer, to help them produce the right reports for the CAA with the least amount of manual work as possible.

On Monday 9th March, I-S-Solutions UK attended the annual AOA Dinner by hosting a table for some of our colleagues and clients. With over 800 attendees, the AOA Annual Dinner is the Aviation Industry’s premier networking event.

I-S-Solutions UK has been in the project profession for over 25 years and joined up with the Association for Project Management this year. I-S-Solutions UK offers a wide range of services to assist the client in solving issues and problems during the project lifecycle. Our project managers have significant experience in all sectors with particular strengths within the Transportation and Materials Handling industry together with FM & Maintenance Services.

I-S-Solutions UK have been chosen to undertake the complete refurbishment of the domestic inbound carousel system at an airport in Southern England. The refurbishment is to include mechanical, electrical & controls system upgrades.

I-S-Solutions UK are celebrating 3 years in our office at the historic site of Cromford Mill near Matlock, Derbyshire. The site is the home of the first water powered cotton mill developed in 1771 by Sir Richard Arkwright. The central location of this prestigious site will enable ISS UK Ltd to offer improved customer links and services.
